YOUnite partnership with Digital Jacket
April 3, 2011
YOUnite, Inc. is pleased to announce that Digital Jacket, Inc. has signed a licensing agreement to incorporate YOUnite’s patented technology into a mobile application that will be deployed in 2011 across the major Japanese mobile carriers of Docomo, KDDI and Softbank, as well as being deployed into Yahoo – Japan.
YOUnite is currently working with our new partners, Digital Jacket, Inc., to finalize development of the application, called MobaScan, which will enable users to photograph business cards in order to scan the contact information into a database that can then be managed and searched.
By utilizing YOUnite technology, the application will allow users to easily maintain accurate contact information across all of their contacts through the notion of distributed sharing of personal attributes. The users simply update their own personal attributes (i.e. name, phone numbers, email addresses, etc.) and the attributes are updated immediately across all of their contacts’ devices.
Digital Jacket, Inc. is one of the largest and most successful mobile application developers in Japan, having developed long standing working relationships with all of the major Japanese carriers. YOUnite, Inc. is extremely pleased to have the opportunity to partner with Digital Jacket, Inc. on this exciting project.
For more information about YOUnite's patented technology, please visit our website and while you are there, read through our Resources Section for the latest Use Cases, White Paper and Presentations.
