We wish to thank you for participating in the YOUnite Beta evaluation. Your comments and feedback were extremely helpful in further developments in the API.
As you may be aware, YOUnite has made a strategic shift from a Consumer focus to an Enterprise focus. As a result of this shift and in order to more efficiently allocate resources, as well as optimize our operating expenditures, we have decided to shut-down Beta.
As of 1 November 2008, YOUnite will no longer operate or support the YOUnite Beta portal.

YOUnite Webtop
YOUnite Webtop® was a reference implementation of a YOUnite® client application which was targeted at the IE browser on Windows XP and Vista, and the Safari browser on the Mac OS X operating system.
The YOUnite Webtop® reference implementation is an excellent example of how YOUnite® can be deployed in a fully distributed data environment. This reference implementation includes a local SQL database, an embedded tomcat server on the client, as well as support for Outlook 2003 on Windows and the MacOS Addressbook on the Mac platform. The YOUnite Webtop® reference implementation has a user interface which could be easily customized and branded to suit you or your customers’ needs.
